Wyzant Discount Code - October 2026

If you refer a student to the Wyzant platform, you are entitled to 100% of your rate for any charges you submit to that student's account. You can confirm that a student referral was properly applied by locating the student on your "Student Connections" page. If there is a green check mark under the "Referred Student" column, this means the referral was properly applied. You can check the "Pay" column on your Lessons page to verify that the lesson charges you submit for the student are properly paid at 100% of your rate. If you believe a referral was incorrectly applied or if you did not receive the appropriate referral rate or reward, please contact Wyzant.

You can send your referral link via email, text message, or by posting to your social media pages. You can find your unique referral link on the Invite Students page. The Platform Fee is not assessed for lessons you submit for a referred student. Please note that the student will still be subject to the normal 9% service fee for these lessons.

Wyzant can accommodate international students, but any tutor applicant must be a permanent resident of the United States who is currently living in the country. Students will need to input a United States zip code in order to sign up, as the system does not recognize international postal codes at this time. Wyzant would advise you to select a zip code in the time zone closest to your current location. Once you are corresponding with a tutor, you can let them know your actual time zone and location so they can coordinate with you on timing.

Wyzant's system is designed to only accept U.S.-based credit and debit cards. However, if you would like to use an internationally registered card, you can still do so by linking it to a PayPal account. PayPal is a global e-commerce business that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the internet. By listing your international credit card through PayPal, you can then link your PayPal account with Wyzant via the Payment Information page located under your My Account drop-down menu.

Tutors decide if they are willing to conduct an interview free of charge. Some tutors include this information on their profiles, so be sure to check. If you're still unsure, you can use Wyzant Messages to reach out to tutors who might be a great fit for you and ask about a free first meeting.
