This option is available to all users and can easily be turned off or on from the settings menu. The Tutor's voice speed can also be adjusted in the settings menu so that your child can customize the experience to fit their level and needs.

Yes! Synthesis Tutor is available to download from the iPad App Store. You can also run Synthesis Tutor on your desktop or computer, including Chromebooks. Android tablet support is currently in the works.

Synthesis Tutor leverages AI where appropriate while relying on their team of expert educators and neuroscientists to handle much of the pedagogy and interactive experiences. They can guarantee the best results because they do not simply outsource your child's education to an LLM. They comb over the experiences to ensure every lesson and interaction is of the highest quality. In short, it is not Chat-GPT. It is much better.

The system evaluates student progress in real time with "micro-assessments" present in every lesson, constantly checking for student understanding before moving on to new material. Their model is continuous assessment vs. a one-time test. Your child will move on in a lesson or unit once they demonstrate they have understood and mastered the material being taught. They also send weekly progress emails that will include AI-generated summaries of your child's progress throughout the week, including specifics on where they struggled and where they triumphed.

Yes. They hear it over and over again. Synthesis Tutor is a blessing for neurodiverse and neuro-atypical students. Dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD, ADHD, 2E, the Tutor is highly effective at making math relatable, understandable, and fun. Their most passionate and pleased customers are those with neurodiverse and neuro-atypical children. The Tutor's warm, gentle, and multi-sensory approach is highly effective for these students. If you are looking for a way to get your neurodiverse child to learn and say goodbye to math anxiety, Synthesis Tutor is the perfect solution.
