Non-activated passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you would like to check when your passes expire, you can do that using New York Pass' automated chat service.

If you've purchased a New York Pass Essentials or Explorer, you'll have 30 days from first use to visit your remaining attractions. The New York Pass is valid for the number of consecutive days you purchased. 'Day 1' starts when you scan your pass at your first attraction, and each 'day' of your pass finishes at midnight. This is the case regardless of what time of day you choose to scan your first attraction. For instance, if you don't visit your first attraction until 5 PM, that will still count as a full 'day 1'. Please allow for this when planning your trip so you can make the best use of your pass and see as much of the city as possible. If you've already activated your passes, please check when they expire via New York Pass' automated chat service.

The days of the All-Inclusive Pass are consecutive. Once you activate your pass, this will count as your first full day. You will then have the following consecutive days, depending on the duration you have chosen, to use it. For example, if you have a 3-day pass and activate it on a Tuesday, you'll then have Wednesday and Thursday to visit all your chosen attractions.

Once your request has been reviewed, which is usually within 24 hours of receipt, New York Pass will process your refund within 7 to 10 business days (excluding weekends). If you haven't received your refund after this time, please let New York Pass know, and New York Pass will look into it for you.

Confirmation emails can take up to four hours to receive (remember to check your junk mail!) due to New York Pass' fraud check procedure, which protects you from phishing, identity theft, and payment fraud.
