In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem on arrival at your property which you booked on Hostelworld, whereby the property reception agent has no record of your reservation under your name or Hostelworld.com Reference Number or your confirmation email, they will credit your account on Hostelworld with the deposit amount you paid to secure the reservation. In addition, they will credit your account US$50 extra for the inconvenience caused, which can be used towards deposits of future hostel bookings on Hostelworld. In order to make a claim under their Booking Guarantee you must contact them within 48 hours of arrival at the property - as per the arrival date and time outlined on your reservation confirmation. You must contact them and detail your claim by filling in the Booking Guarantee contact form on Hostelworld.

Hostelworld's cancellation policy is 24 hours ahead of your arrival date. This means you should cancel at least 24 hours ahead of the earliest check-in date to avoid a no-show or late cancellation charge. As soon as you click "Cancel", the property will be automatically notified of your cancellation. You can cancel up to 24 hours (unless otherwise stated) ahead of the arrival date. After this date has passed, then it will not be possible to cancel online. Cancellations after this time are considered late cancellations or no-show and additional charges may apply.

If cancelled on time, your refund will be processed and back to you in up to 10 working days.
